We are a research work unit of the U.S. Forest Service, Southern Research Station and consist of over ten employees spread out across two locations - Athens, Georgia and Gainesville, Florida.
Our research program seeks to improve the understanding of how people living in urban and urbanizing landscapes both influence and are influenced by natural environments.
